The Angel Band Project is a national nonprofit providing free, trauma-informed music therapy and advocacy for survivors of sexual and intimate partner violence. To date, we’ve served nearly 1000 survivors at no cost to participants or our partner agencies.
About Songs of Survival
In this ground-breaking program, survivors work with board-certified music therapists to compose and record original songs of resilience. These songs are professionally produced and released on an album—transforming private stories into powerful art that educates, inspires, and heals.
The project culminates in a Songs of Survival Album Release Concert on
Saturday, March 28, 2026 at 7pm
at Heagney Theater in Nerinx Hall in Webster Groves, MO.
Our clients’ songs will be professionally performed live, celebrating the strength of survivors, the support of the larger community, and the transformative power of music. This experience will also feature live performances by professional artists and a few surprises along the way.
