Support Healing Through Music in NYC
The Angel Band Project has been a pioneer in bringing life-affirming music therapy to survivors in crisis. In 2013, they developed and launched the country’s first music therapy program specifically designed to help survivors of sexual and intimate partner violence. Over the past decade, The Angel Band Project has worked to create a safe space where survivors can find solace, regain their voices, and reclaim their lives. All of our services are offered free of charge so that these services are accessible, regardless of the client's ability to pay.
To date, the Angel Band Project has provided music therapy to over 800 survivors and their children, ranging in ages from 2 to 78 years at no cost to participants. This work primarily happens in St. Louis and New York, as well as our pilot cities.
In New York, we are committed to expanding our programming to reach more individuals in need. Our events not only raise crucial funds but also elevate awareness, fostering a supportive community where survivors feel seen, heard, and valued.
Your support plays a vital role in ensuring we continue to offer these services. Join us in our mission to uplift and empower, making a tangible difference in the lives of survivors.
